Our team are currently delivering a number of projects across the UK.

John Lewis Store Optimisation – Bluewater

Value - £4.1 million | Client - John Lewis Partnership

We are proud to be working with John Lewis on the Bluewater Optimisation Project, a major project within of one of the UK’s most recognisable retail stores. The programme involves the alteration of all departments across the shopfloor, a complex contract requiring detailed planning, tight phasing, and round-the-clock coordination.

The project began on 30th June 2025 and will be delivered over a 16-week programme.

Working in a Live Environment

As the store is remaining open throughout the project, our approach is centred around minimising disruption. Works are being carried out behind hoardings, with 22 phases and throughout both day and night shifts.

Scope of Works

The optimisation project includes:

  • Strip-out of existing fixtures and finishes

  • Installation of new wall, floor, and ceiling finishes

  • Decorative upgrades throughout

  • Mechanical, Electrical & Sprinkler modifications to suit new layouts

  • Shopfitting: installation of new fixtures and relocation of existing ones

  • Back-of-house racking works to support stock flow and logistics

For John Lewis, this project is about creating a store layout that is smarter, more efficient, and more customer-focused. For us, it’s a chance to showcase our expertise in delivering large-scale, live retail transformations, where precision, adaptability, and collaboration are critical to success.

IVF Clinic Development - Edinburgh

Value - £3.7 million | Client - Genus Fertility

We are currently on site transforming an existing shell unit into a modern fertility centre that will provide advanced reproductive healthcare in a purpose-built environment.

The works began in June 2025, following completion of design and approvals, with Practical Completion set for 19th December 2025.

Delivering a Specialist Clinical Environment

As a live healthcare project, the new IVF clinic requires precision, technical coordination, and strict adherence to healthcare design standards. Our team has worked closely with the client and design partners to develop a solution that meets HTM and HBN requirements while ensuring optimal functionality, patient comfort, and infection control. Every aspect of the build, from ventilation and medical gases to finishes and cleanroom design, has been planned to achieve CQC and HCA compliance, creating a facility that supports world-class clinical care.

Scope of Works

This comprehensive internal and external redevelopment programme comprises:

  • Completion of Stage 4 design and Building Warrant approval
  • Full strip-out of existing walls, ceilings, and redundant M&E systems
  • Installation of new partitions, ceilings, and raised access floors
  • Full mechanical and electrical installations, including ventilation, air conditioning, domestic services, and medical gases
  • Integration of specialist clinical systems, such as IPS units and cleanroom finishes
